If you’re thinking of buying the g7 and using it on 1080p for higher FPS just don’t, scaling degrades picture quality and you could easily feel the higher input lag that is caused by post processing the resolution. ![]() ![]() I feel higher input lag and micro stutter when VRR control is on so I just kept it off with one issue, I get screen tearing every 20 minutes which is annoying but still better than Vrr on. The only downside is freesync on the g7 I don’t think Samsung implementation off VRR works very good. Low input lag great response time on the monitor side, however I still think a high end TN would still be faster but no where close to the g7 picture quality and superb blacks. Xbox series x averages 110-120 FPS on warzone which is impressive, however I think it could do more the game doesn’t show the true capabilities of this new console. Picture quality is outstanding, I had doubts about G7 for a long time when I was using it on Xbox one x but now I see that it was hardware limitation of the console it self. Just to clarify I’m using 1440p 120hz, pc rgb, faster overdrive and Freesync off.
